Back Story

PizzaBoyzzz and Think Tank LA, an LA art gallery, were coordinating a 1-month long pizza art installation experience and I was put in contact with the creators because I recently had collaborated with Digiornos.

We arranged for me to provide several merchandise items, in which I made bags recycled using pizza boxes and menus.

They offered me my own installation after presenting the merchandise!

The Process

• Empty 8’x12’ room

• 6’ Pizza Globe

  • 4 layers of paper mache

  • Hand painted marinara oceans

  • Hand painted cheese, topping & crust continents

• Faux Fur “cheese” walls

• Marinara floor

• “Create-Your-Own” Pizza wall

  • An a-la-carte pizza wall with toppings/sauce/crust

This project started with me creating recycled merchandise and evolved to a showcase of how I can take any idea and bring it to life.
